My name is Karina K Pigozne, I am a freelance illustrator originally from Latvia, though for the past 15 years, I’ve called the wonderful, rainy UK my home.

I’ve always been creative, exploring various outlets to express myself but for the longest time, illustration wasn’t one of them. After experimenting with polymer clay, oil paints, alcohol inks, and acrylics, I finally found my way to illustration - and completely fell in love. Looking back, I believe the universe was gently guiding me in that direction. Drawing cuteness became the therapy I never knew I needed.

My biggest inspiration, fan and critic is my 7 year old daughter - some of the most wonderful ideas come from our conversations and sketching sessions together (P.S. She wants to be an artist when she grows up!).

I love bringing imagination to life by transforming ordinary and unexpected elements into charming characters as well as creating entirely new whimsical beings. Whether it’s sweet loveable illustrations or playful, smile inducing patterns, my goal is to create artwork that sparks joy and sense of wonder.

My work can be found on fabric, logos , diamond paintings, and more. I’m always excited to see it come to life in new and creative ways.
